Introduction

   

    Hi there, and welcome to my e-portfolio! This is where I share my journey through my Field Study experience, a collection of stories, reflections, and lessons that have shaped me into the educator I’m becoming. It’s a space where I look back on the nerves, excitement, and triumphs of stepping into the classroom for the first time, and I hope it gives you a glimpse into what this incredible journey has meant to me.

    Starting my field study journey was nerve-wracking. The thought of deployment and meeting my resource teachers filled me with both excitement and doubt. I worried about whether I’d meet expectations, adapt quickly, and find my place in this new chapter of learning.

    But all those fears melted away the moment I met my resource teachers during my Field Study 1 and 2. They were incredibly kind and approachable, which instantly made me feel at ease. From day one, I could tell that they were genuinely invested in helping me grow. Their teaching skills were not only impressive but inspiring, and I found myself eager to learn from their expertise. Every day felt like an opportunity to gain new insights and strategies that I could carry with me in my future as an educator.

    I’m also excited to observe and understand the individual differences of the students. It’s fascinating to see how each learner is unique and how teaching strategies can be adjusted to meet their needs.

    Looking back, I’m grateful for this journey and the people who made it so rewarding. My resource teachers taught me more than just teaching techniques they showed me the importance of creating a supportive environment where learners can thrive. Now, I’m not just hopeful but excited for what lies ahead, knowing that this experience is shaping me into the educator I want to become.
